Russell L. Spackman, Sr., age 54, of West Grove, PA, passed away on September 12, 2007 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester, PA. He was the fiancé of Dawn K. Ulkloss of Kennett Square, PA.
Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late John and Lois Kavanaugh Spackman.
Russ served in the U. S. Air Force for eight years and then in the U. S. Army Reserves for two years.
He was a truck driver for MJB Sales in Avondale, PA.
Russ enjoyed watching sci-fi movies and being with his family and friends.
In addition to his fianc�e, he is survived by his former wife, Janet Heaton Ranker; one son, Russell L. Spackman, Jr. of York Haven, PA;
one daughter, Kristie L. Tomes and her husband Michael of York, PA; one brother, William Spackman of New Jersey; and by two grandchildren.
He was predeceased by one daughter, Rebecca L. Spackman.
Family and friends may visit with the family from 9 to 10 AM on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at the Kuzo & Grieco Funeral Home (610-444-4116), 250 W. State St., Kennett Square, PA.
His funeral service will follow at 10 AM. Interment will be in New Garden Friends Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Russ' memory to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia, PA 19103.
